MARVEL Tōkon Fighting Souls Stages & Maps
Seven Marvel arenas, multi-zone transitions, and why Wall Breaks are more than cosmetics.
Stages in MARVEL Tōkon Fighting Souls are not static wallpaper. Arc System Works built Marvel locales as multi-area arenas — Wall Breaks shove the fight into a new zone while feeding the 4v4 unlock fantasy. Use this hub to learn which stages exist, what the open beta let you sample, and how to think about corner carry before launch.
Confirmed launch stages
Public materials and roster trailers have confirmed seven stages so far:
- Marvel’s New York (Day) — classic skyline energy; day variant appeared throughout betas
- Marvel’s New York (Night) — night lighting pass showcased for the open beta
- Savage Land — prehistoric Marvel wilderness; early public demo staple
- X-Mansion — mutant home ground tied to Unbreakable X-Men
- Knowhere — cosmic station paired with Amazing Guardians reveals
- Wakanda — vibranium kingdom spotlighted with Fighting Avengers
- Asgard — revealed with Samurai Outriders at EVO 2026
Year 1 pass buyers also expect one additional post-launch stage through the Characters & Stage Pass — track that on DLC & Year 1 Pass.
What the open beta included
The July 24–26 open beta offered six stages: New York (Day), New York (Night), Savage Land, X-Mansion, Knowhere, and Wakanda. Asgard was already publicly revealed earlier but was not part of that six-stage open-beta slate. If you labbed only the beta set, schedule Asgard time at launch. Full rehearsal notes live on Open Beta.
Wall Breaks change the map — and the match
A Wall Break is both a stage transition and a resource beat. Official and community guidance agree: throwing or confirming into the wall, certain Link Attacks near the boundary, and some character-specific tools can shatter the zone. Payoff typically includes:
- Moving the fight into a new Marvel locale segment
- Helping assemble additional teammates
- Boosting Assemble / Skill resources when earned correctly
Treat corner carry as progression, not just damage. Systems detail sits on Systems Explained; beginner confirms sit on Link Attacks.
How to practice stages without getting distracted
- Pick one point character and one stage for a whole Training session.
- Lab a single Wall Break route — do not collect every transition on day one.
- Note camera / background clutter that hurts your anti-air reads (Knowhere and night New York can feel busier).
- In casual, call stages you already understand before experimenting.
Story and mode connections
Episode Mode motion-comic chapters often frame why these locales matter narratively — especially Amazing Guardians path content sampled in the open beta. Pair stage familiarity with Episode Mode if you learn better through story context.
Launch checklist for stages
- Revisit any beta stage where you kept losing corner turns
- Add Asgard to your first-week lab list
- Watch Updates for post-launch stage DLC timing
- Keep a calm team draft ready in Team Builder so map novelty does not become menu panic
Stages sell the Marvel fantasy. Wall Breaks make that fantasy score stock. Learn both before the August 6 lobbies fill.
